I made a post about a month ago on LinkedIn about my experience with HNG Internship. Decided to add it here.

“The past few weeks as a frontend web development Intern at HNG Internship have been both challenging and interesting. Faced with the challenge of breaking down complex problems into simpler units, keeping up with tracks, and delivering on assigned tasks, I learned so many new things on the job. Truly, it has been a positive experience and a major leap in my career as a web developer.

After spending weeks in this program — it is still ongoing, though — I now have a better understanding of web concepts (like web architectures, collaboration, networking), and a better grasp of various technical tools. I believe these lessons have made me a better developer. In fact, I understand now that there is more to programming than writing codes.

My Team (Team Coelho) is tasked with building the channels plugin for the Zuri chat application. So far, it has been stressful. However, the experience has been exciting; everything has gone quite well. I am very curious to explore what the coming weeks hold for us.

Thanks, Mark Essien, Seyi Onifade, and the entire Zuri Team, Inc., Ingressive For Good, and HNG Internship for this opportunity.
